Gulenist conferences are pseudo-academic gatherings that have often taken place at universities and sometimes solicited universities as joint organizers or sponsors.  Nevertheless these are propagandist events.  Involved universities likely participated as part of their outreach mission, and it is questionable whether they were fully aware of all aspects of the Gulen Movement.
